LHC New Physics Forum 2011

With the start of data taking at the very successfully running LHC experiments specific searches for Higgs bosons and new physics effects are becoming the center of attention in experimental and theoretical particle physics. Most notably, this includes the actual interpretation of experimental results in the landscape of models for electroweak symmetry breaking, dark matter, or other models of interest to the LHC. This workshop will foster close and informal exchange between experimentalists and theorists, as it is crucial to understand LHC observations and what they mean (or do not mean) for some of the most pressing problems in high energy physics.

This workshop is the second in a series and a follow-up to a very successful meeting  in February 2009 at the IWH. It will include only few overview talks by established world experts in the different fields and then allow for extensive discussions. Mihoko Nojiri (KEK, IPMU, Tokyo), Tim Tait (University of California at Irvine), and John Terning (University of California at Davis) are international co-organizer. Homepage & Programm
