Santander International Summer School for Doctoral Students

Frontiers in Neuroeconomics – How Social and Individual Context matters for the Biological Mechanisms of Behaviour

This summer school brings together young researchers active in economics, behavioural, medical and human sciences with an interest in cutting-edge transdisciplinary research on specific aspects of the broader field of neuroeconomics. The summer school addresses personal factors, physical and mental health, and social and environmental factors that affect human decision making. It explores how biological factors of decision making interact with context factors and by that influence the process and the outcomes of decision making.

Scientific coordinators of the summer school are Prof. Dr. Christiane Schwieren, Dr. Malte Stopsack and Dr. Knut Schnell from Heidelberg University and Dr. Santiago Sánchez-Pagés from Universitat de Barcelona.
