Micromagnetics – Analysis and Applications
Magnetic Materials display a large variety of complex patterns on different length scales. These patterns can be explained as minimizers or stationary points of a free enerrgy functional. The dynamics of the evolution of the magnetization is governed by the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation. We want to discuss recents results from the physical, analytical and numerical point of view.
