Digital Corpus of Greek and Latin Literary Papyri

This workshop is the second and final planning meeting being conducted within the framework of the NEH/DFG-sponsored 'Bilateral Symposia' program.  Its aim is to define the precise scope and technical requirements of a digital corpus of all surviving Greek and Latin literary papyri from the ancient world, on analogy with the more historically-oriented suite of electronic resources hosted at www.papyri.info. The central question that is being posed at this workshop is how to leverage both the technical and social advances made over the past few years with the papyri.info project in order to offer scholars and students the most effective navigation and editorial tools for the study of ancient literature and culture.
